Install CompGenies for testing

This is the unpacked build. It installs straight into Chrome — no Web Store account, no developer verification, no waiting for review. It runs for as long as you keep the folder on your machine.

Load it into Chrome

   Unzip the download into a folder you'll keep — for example Desktop/complive. Chrome reads the folder live, so don't delete it after installing.

   Open a new tab and go to chrome://extensions

   Turn on Developer mode with the toggle in the top-right corner.

   Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder (the one containing manifest.json).

   CompGenies appears in your extension list. Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin it.

   Open the CompGenies popup and sign in with your account so Pro and trial limits apply.

   Open a Whatnot, eBay Live, or TikTok Live stream — the overlay appears bottom-right.

Works in any Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera.

Using Safari instead?

The same build runs in Safari 17+ on macOS, but Safari can't load a folder directly — it needs the extension wrapped in a small app first. On a Mac with Xcode installed, unzip the download and run:

xcrun safari-web-extension-converter /path/to/complive-extension \
  --app-name "CompGenies" --macos-only

Press Run in Xcode, then in Safari enable Develop → Allow Unsigned Extensions and tick CompGenies under Settings → Extensions. Full step-by-step instructions, including App Store submission, are in SAFARI.md inside the download.

On a phone or tablet — Orion Browser

Chrome on phones doesn't support extensions, but Orion Browser does — it runs Chrome extensions on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Orion is Apple-only; there is no Android version — on Android, sign in at complive.app in your browser and use the web tools instead.

   Install Orion Browser from the App Store (iPhone / iPad) or from browser.kagi.com on Mac — it's free.

   Open Orion, tap the address-bar menu (or Settings on Mac) and go to Settings → Extensions.

   Turn on support for Chrome extensions when prompted — Orion will ask the first time you install one.

   Come back to this page inside Orion and tap the button below to open our Chrome Web Store listing.

   Tap Add to Orion, then confirm. CompGenies appears in Orion's Extensions list.

   Open the extension from Orion's menu, sign in with your CompGenies account, then open a Whatnot or TikTok Live stream — the overlay appears just like on desktop.

When a new build ships

Download again from this page, replace the contents of your existing folder, then open chrome://extensions and click the reload arrow on the CompGenies card. Refresh any open stream tab afterwards. The version and date above always match the file you're downloading.
