Short version: we read the item title you scan, we look up sold comps, and that's it.

1. Overview
CompLive is a Chrome extension and website that shows publicly available sold-price data for items appearing on live auction streams. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never touch.
2. What the extension reads
When you run a scan, the extension reads the item title and related product text from the page you are viewing on Whatnot, eBay Live, or TikTok Live. That text is sent to our servers to look up sold comparables.
The extension does not record video or audio, does not read chat messages, does not capture keystrokes, and does not access pages on any other website.
3. What we store
Scanned item titles and the comp results returned, so Pro users can review scan history and so we can improve matching quality.
Aggregate usage counts (number of scans per day) to enforce plan limits.
For account holders: email address and subscription status. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
4. What we never do
We do not sell personal data. We do not place bids, purchase items, or interact with auction platforms on your behalf. We do not share your scan history with sellers or platforms.
5. Cookies and local storage
The website uses essential cookies only. The extension stores your plan tier, preferences, and daily scan count in Chrome's local extension storage on your device.
6. Third parties
Sold-price data is sourced from public marketplace listings. We use standard infrastructure and payment providers who process data solely on our instructions.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing us. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data immediately.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the effective date below. Material changes will be announced in the extension.
